numberGo Publisher is simply the most accessible solution for analyzing and sharing data without the need for a server. Our business intelligence (BI) tool has
the combined power of a pivot table and
our unique Chartsets, The numberGo Publisher
BI tool allows you to quickly and easily visualize
your data from a broad overview down to the smallest detail with just a few clicks
of the mouse.
Drag and Drop Report Design:
using numberGo’s intuitive pivot table, reports are dynamically
and instantly configured with automatic rollups and drop-down filters. Our BI tool allows anybody to
slice and dice the data with almost no training.
“One-Click” Dynamic Charts: charts are dynamically created using numberGo’s intelligent
chartSet construction with a simple click of the mouse. Watch your data come alive
as your charts visually describe and follow the slices and rollups of your multi-dimensional
data with “MRI-style” logic and presentation.
Date/Time Analysis: simply select a date/time field and the components of the date
you want and you can immediately analyze your data at any date or time interval.
Date groups include Year, Quarter, Month, Week, Day plus many more.
Calculated fields: The numberGo BI tool has a powerful expression language which allows you
to create fields which previously were not available.
Accessability via the Importer:
Recognizing that nobody likes to enter data, especially data which is already stored
electronically, the numberGo Publisher offers an extremely simple interface to fetch
and store data from any Excel spreadsheet, HTML or XML file, or text file where
the data is delimited using a common character such as commas (CSV). NumberGo Publisher
also features direct importing from tables or views stored in Oracle or Microsoft
SQL Server databases using their native client software or to any database which
supports an ODBC connection, such as Access, MySQL, or IBM DB2. |

|
1-2-3 Import:
The Importer interface
consists of a three-step wizard that guides you through selecting the data, pre-processing,
if desired, and defining the name of the Book to which Reports
will be assigned. Selecting the data most often is easy as knowing the name or location
of the file or the name of the table and database server. Pre-processing allows
you to transpose the data or eliminate superfluous data. At the end of the import
process, each step is stored within the numberGo document so you or anybody else
can update the data incrementally at the click of a button.

Intuitive Structure: numberGo documents are broken up into Books and Datasource,
and Reports and Views. The Books are simply the data itself with the field definitions
while Datasources are the location of where the data came from. This structure allows
many different sources to be put into a single location for better analysis.
The
Reports and Views are the definitions of the layouts. Each file can have an unlimited
number of Reports and each Report can have an unlimited number of Views.
The entire structure is easily accessible and controllable via the workspace map.
What’s this View represent? Each View has
a rich text annotation which allows you to fully describe your View to anyone. Using
the annotation editor, you can add images, hyperlinks or just plain text to provide
as much detail as you want.
Control the numberGo Workspace and Presentation:
Using the Publisher BI tool, you can also control the
ability to make changes to your tables by limiting access to fields in the pivot
table, applying expression filters to restrict some of the data as well as pre-defining
sorts, formats. The numberGo Publisher also can include logos and detailed text
using numberGo’s built in work processor.
